Air fryer caramelized peaches topped with yogurt, granola, and nut butter. Sweet n’ tangy, soft and crunchy – the perfect quick, healthy summer snack or dessert. Easily vegan and gluten-free.

It’s peach season! Peaches are one of my favorite summer fruits, and they taste best from May through September.

Also, I’m obsessed with my air fryer during the summer. It’s the easiest way to make quick and healthy meals without warming up the entire house.

The air fryer enhances the peaches’ sweetness and perfectly balances the tang from the yogurt. Plus, it takes less than 10 minutes to make!

Can you cook fruits in the air fryer?

Baked fruit has always been a dessert favorite – think pies, streusels, tarts, cobblers, etc.

Cooking fruits in an air fryer allows you to get that same taste of your favorite desserts with half the work. It is one of the best ways to get a warm, filling, yet light dessert.

The heat from the air fryer intensifies the flavor of the fruit. The longer you bake, the more the fruit softens and lets out excess water, which completely changes the texture – it leaves you with a dessert-like, smooth consistency.

Which Peaches should you use?

Personally, I love yellow peaches. They are the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. But feel free to use your favorite variety!

Ripe fruit, which is softer and more tender, goes through the caramelizing process when baking even faster, which is why I don’t recommend using peaches that are too ripe.

However, if you use riper peaches, adding sugar before baking can help preserve their integrity. Versus, if your peaches are underripe, it’s best to let them bake and soften, and then add the sugar towards the end.

I find the science behind baking fascinating and love sharing these tips and tricks with you!

After 6-7 minutes, flip the peaches face up and sprinkle the coconut oil, brown sugar, and cinnamon on top.

This recipe is that much better with your favorite fixings!

Serve the peaches with yogurt or some vanilla bean ice cream and top with extra granola and cinnamon.

If you like more savory dishes, you can even save these peaches for your next salad or maybe even a fancy burrata peach sandwich or wrap. They add the perfect sweet contrast to cheese and fresh veggies.

However, if you want to use up any extra peaches, you can even meal prep them in advance and add them to your meals and desserts throughout the week.

The possibilities are endless!

How to store air fryer peaches

I think these peaches taste best warm, but I have also tried them after refrigerating as well.

While they taste nice and fresh when they’re served cold, I don’t recommend reheating them after cooling as they will likely turn to mush. Store them in an air-tight container in the fridge and you can serve them cold for another 3-4 days.

Enjoy!
