Don’t have a campfire for s’mores? Let’s make these smoke-free, campfire-free, amazing air fryer s’mores indoors! Satisfy your craving in about 5 minutes with caramlized marshmallows and melty chocoalte.

S’mores are one of my favorite summer desserts. There’s nothing better than roasting marshmallows over the fire and stuffing them between layers of graham crackers and chocolate. Which is why i know you will love Air Fryer Smores!

Though I’m obsessed with s’mores, there is no way I’m going to start up a whole barbecue for the 2-3 marshmallows I’m craving.

This is why air fryers save lives – they are the ultimate dessert hack.

If you love s’mores desserts, you’ll probably also love my Healthy S’mores Cookies recipe.

What Can I Use to Roast S’mores?

Not everyone has an air fryer! No need to worry.

Alternatively, you can make S’mores in your oven. Simply preheat to broil. Line the s’mores on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 3-4 minutes until melted.

Surely this recipe is also easily made in your microwave. Simply assemble the s’more and microwave for 15 seconds. The marshmallows won’t be as golden as when you bake them in the air fryer, but they’ll still be deliciously melty.

If you’re a seasoned chef, and maybe you’ve experienced making Crème Brule, a blow torch is a viable option for roasting your marshmallows, as well.

But please be very, very careful when using any sort of fire-based cooking tool!

What kind of chocolate should I use for Air fryer S’mores?

Okay, this is the fun part!

S’mores are highly customizable. You can put any chocolate base on the inside.

However, I love adding Reese’s cups because peanut butter, marshmallow, and chocolate pair so well.

Recently, I’ve also been a fan of the Milka chocolate brand. They come in over 20 flavors: Oreo, Chips Ahoy, caramel, hazelnut, yogurt, etc.

The other day, I tried a caramel popcorn flavor chocolate and it was delicious!

I’ve also seen people line the graham cracker with Nutella. Yum!

Certainly, you can stick to the classic Hershey’s milk chocolate. Nothing beats the company classic.

Did you know that during the pandemic, Hershey’s had a 30% increase in sales? More than ever before, people spent more time at home with family – what better way to enjoy the summer than bonding over s’mores?

What kind of Marshmallow should I use for Air Fryer smores?

Certainly, if you like s’mores as a vehicle for chocolate consumption, you can always buy marshmallow minis to increase your chocolate to marshmallow ratio.

Or, if s’mores are your excuse to consume as much fluffy goodness as possible, you can certainly opt for jumbo marshmallows.

Furthermore, if you’re like me and you buy a bag of marshmallows and they dry out because you forget about them, you can also just keep a jar of marshmallow fluff at hand.

Want something a little fancier? You can make my S’mores Cookie Skillet recipe with your leftovers, which will be equally as delicious!

If you’re vegan, Trader Joes sells Dandies, vegan marshmallows. Pair them with your favorite vegan chocolate and cracker depending on your dietary preferences.

How can I use up my extra Marshmallows?

If you are wanting something that is more than making s’mores, you can include marshmallows in a ton of cookie and cake recipes. They are the perfect gooey edition to any dessert.

Some of my personal favorite recipes are:

Also, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I occasionally pop a marshmallow in my mouth when passing through the kitchen. They really are irresistible.

How to MAKE INDOOR s’mores

Begin, by assembling a piece of graham cracker and a layer of chocolate.

Then, add 1-2 marshmallows. If they’re bigger, I like cutting them in half and using the sticky side therefore it will secure the marshmallow onto the graham cracker. That way it stays put in the air fryer!

Next, place the graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow into the air fryer at 375F for 5-6 minutes.

The power/heat level may vary depending on the air fryer. However, you can add 1 min at a time if marshmallows aren’t as caramelized as desired.

Finally, top the s’more with another graham cracker, squeeze, and enjoy!

Lastly, be careful because it might be a little hot.

How to serve S’mores

Simply eat as is!

Layer them on a pretty platter for guests or the kiddos to enjoy. It’s the perfect finger food dessert to satisfy people of all ages.

Do air fryer s’mores store well?

Unfortunately, no!

Once cooked and cooled, marshmallows get hard and chewy and graham crackers get stale.

Besides, there really is nothing better than a freshly made, warm s’more.

Enjoy!
