Sharing my favorite and easiest way to make crispy Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi in an air fryer under 15 minutes in the Air Fryer. This gnocchi recipe makes the perfect quick weekday dinner paired with pesto, vegan cheese sauce, and more.
If have heard about the rave of Trader Joe’s gnocchi. I am here to affirm that rumor. Yes, it is that good. However, if you have made soggy gnocchi per the instruction on the bag, I am going to share my favorite quick and easy way for the crispiest factor. Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower Gnocchi!
What is Cauliflower Gnocchi Made of
Traditionally, gnocchi is made with potatoes, eggs and wheat flour.
The Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi is made with very minimal ingredients, mainly being cauliflower and cassava flour. It is healthier than the traditional gnocchi, given that it produces some vegetables and is gluten, and dairy free.
How to Cook Cauliflower Gnocchi?
There are so many ways you can cook Trader Joe’s Cauliflower gnocchi
- Air fryer
- Skillet on your kitchen stove
- In the oven
But today, we are just going to focus on the one that takes minimal effort and have the best result.
First, place a bag of frozen trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi on a plate, with some space in between the gnocchi. Microwave for 1 minute. Flip half way to ensure the gnocchi is thawed evenly.
Second, preheat air fryer to 400 F. If your air fryer does not require preheating, you can just place gnocchi in the frying basket.
Then, air fry for 13 – 15 minutes depending on how crispy you would like it to be.
Voila! Now serve with your favorite main dish or sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 bag Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi
Instructions
1. Spread the frozen Trader Joe's Cauliflower gnocchi on a microwave safe plate. Microwave for 1 minute (if using the whole bag). Flip half way to make sure they are thawed evenly.
2. Toss the the cauliflower gnocchi in the air fryer basket.
3. Cook 400 F for 13 - 14 minutes.
4. Pair with your favorite sauce or sides. Enjoy!
Notes
1. If after microwaving for a minute, the cauliflower gnocchi is still a little frozen, it is okay. No need to have it completely thawed.
