Most of these Chinese recipes come from my parents’ kitchen. I’ve tweaked a lot of them for busy weeknights, and a few are still exactly how my family has always made them, like my grandma’s crispy chili oil and my mom’s Chinese egg pancake. The family pork dumplings are where I’d start, and the one pot red braised chicken drumsticks are a close second.
