You only need some rolled oats and a high-speed blender to make your own oat flour in minutes in a more cost-effective way.
Oat flour is simply oats made into a very fine form. You can use rolled oats or quick oats because they are partially cooked during the processing. However, steel-cut oats will not work for this oat flour recipe.
Truly, all you need is oats, and a highspeed blender.
Store-bought oat flour is often not cheap. Making your own is more cost-effective, and you can ensure the freshness.

How to Store Your Homemade Flour
It is pretty simple- whether you have air tight containers or just a mason jar. You can store this however you like as long as it is in a sealed container.
It should last about a month! If you don’t use oat flour enough, you can just blend or process it the same day you need it for a recipe!

Ingredients
- Rolled Oats, this is a 1:1 ratio- therefore make however much oat flour you would like to have on hand. Blend/Process 1 cup to yield 1 cup of oat flour
Instructions
- Measure out oats, and place in the blender or food processor.
- Blend or process on high until you get a smooth flour consistency!
- You may now store in an airtight container or jar for 1 month and use for recipes calling for oat flour.
