Greek Yogurt Bark {3 Ingredients}
This 3 ingredient Greek Yogurt Bark is the perfect treat to beat the summer heat. It is essentially frozen yogurt packed with your favorite fruits, granola, and other toppings. There is no equipment needed for this recipe, and it is extremely customizable that you can make it fit exactly what your taste buds want.
This yogurt bark recipe made with plain greek yogurt and honey, topped with berries is my current favorite snack as the temperature heats up. It is simple, quick and delicious.
You can customize it in so many ways to your liking. Use your favorite seasonal fruits like berries, mangoes, kiwis, pineapples and more.
I love using full-fat greek yogurt to get that creamy and thick texture. But you can also use regular vanilla yogurt where you will make this a TWO ingredient yogurt bark (since you won’t need the honey anymore).
My toddlers also love them. It is the perfect way to give them those extra fruits and protein without extra added sugar.
If you are looking for dairy-free recipes, you can simply use your favorite yogurt alternatives like coconut yogurt, almond yogurt, or cashew yogurt.
Bottom line, you need to save this recipe and make them so many ways to spice up this summer!
Ingredients for Greek Yogurt Bark
Plain greek Yogurt: Full fat is the best kind to use here. It is the most creamy and has more flavor.
Honey: My favorite sweetener for this yogurt bark recipe. It is floral, earthy and summery. You can also use maple syrup or agave if you prefer.
Toppings: Berries and granola make for a beautiful topping spread.
Remember, the sky is the limit when it comes to toppings. You can use whatever your heart and taste buds desire!
For example, you can add any of your favorite fruit, sliced or chopped.
Pro tip, use the fruit that is in season for an even more boost of flavor.
Craving something a bit more luxurious? Sprinkle some dark chocolate chips on top for a delectable flavor blast.
If you want some extra crunch in your yogurt bark, use nuts and seeds to jazz up your recipe! I love chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds or roughly chopped pistachios or cashews.
How to Make This Super Simple Greek Yogurt Bark
A Few Ideas for a Fun Twist
Yogurt Alternatives
If you are looking for dairy free options, you can use your favorite dairy free yogurt alternatives, such as almond, cashews or coconut yogurt.
You can also use vanilla yogurt instead, and omit the honey since vanilla yogurt is often already sweetened.
How about other flavored yogurt options?
Honestly, whatever floats your boat! Try chocolate, coconut or other wild flavors out there.
Fruit Toppings
Seasonal fresh fruit or frozen fruits both work. Just chop or slice them thin.
Mangoes, pineapples, kiwis are all great options.
Crunchy Toppings
Granola, cacao nibs, bee pollen, flax seeds, chia seeds and more. The sky is the limit when it comes to toppings!
Nut butters?
Definitely a yes for me! I love drizzling almond butter, peanut butter or granola butter (if you are going for a nut free option) on top as a finishing touch.
Let me know in the comment section what fun toppings have you tried for this recipe!
