How to Make Chocolate Banana Bread

How to make Chocolate Brownie Banana Bread step by step instruction

So I basically divided the two recipes in half and tweaked them a little bit to make this chocolate banana bread.

First, in two mixing bowls, combine all the wet ingredient together. You can either use a blender or immersion blender. If the sweet potatoes you are using are very soft, you can just smash and whisk everything together with a fork.

Second, add the dry ingredients to each bowl. Coconut flour to the banana bread, and cacao powder to the chocolate brownie batter.

Third, line a 9×5 pan with parchment paper. Pour half chocolate brownie batter in. Then gently smash it on your kitchen counter. Now pour all the banana bread batter on top. At the end, scoop the rest of the chocolate and spread across banana bread.

Lastly, add some extra banana or chocolate chip on top. Then bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until tooth pick come out clean.

Tip: The brownie takes slightly shorter time than the banana bread does in the original recipe. Therefore, adding coconut flour to banana bread can make the banana bread part take a little less time to cook.
