This easy dairy-free and refined-sugar-free Eggnog French toast recipe is just perfect for the holidays. The creamy eggnog pairs perfectly with the fluffy French toast to make it the best festive holiday breakfast for the family.

In a shallow dish (i used a 9x9 baking dish), whisk together eggs, vanilla extract, coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Place thick-cut bread pieces in the baking dish, flip them a couple times to make sure they are well coated with the eggnog mix.
Heat up a skillet or griddle with 1 - 2 tbsp ghee or coconut oil. Add the toasts in the pan and cook both sides for about 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
Soak the rest of the bread and repeat step 3 to cook all the French Toast.
Serve with warm maple syrup, coconut whipped cream, chocolate chips or any toppings you like. Enjoy!
