In a mixing bowl, prepare the marinade: Whisk together all the seasoning - avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt pepper and liquid smoke.
Gently toss mushroom in the bowl until they are coated with marinade thoroughly.
Then, lay the mushroom on a oven safe baking rack over a baking pan. Make sure you leave some space in between the mushrooms
Bake 20 - 25 minutes depending on how crispy you want the mushroom bacon to be.
Remove from oven. Serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
Notes
1. Portobello mushroom can break fairly easily. So use your hands or just lightly toss it to get the marinate coated thoroughly.
