These dark chocolate covered figs with pistachios and sea salt are my favorite summer dessert and snack. They are gluten free, paleo, and keto compliant.
1/2cupdark chocolate chip or chocolate bars melted
1/4cupchopped pistachios
2tspsea salt
Instructions
Wash and dry 4-5 figs. Slice them then place in the freezer for 15 - 20 minutes.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or using the double pot method (see directions under "How to Make Dark Chocolate Covered Figs" Section
Once the chocolate is semi-cooled, dip figs in the melted chocolate. Place on a peach of parchment paper lined baking pan or plate.
Sprinkle some pistachios and a pinch of sea salt.
Leave in the fridge until chocolate gets completely firm ( approx. 15 - 20 minutes)
Enjoy within 2 days!

Storage:1. If storing in the fridge, these chocolate covered figs are the best enjoyed within 1 - 2 days. 2. Or you can freeze them in an air tight container or bag for up to 1 month.
